It was thought to be worthwhile to bring together these short write-ups as the Bulletin completes ten years of its existence.
The contributors themselves have a varied background; some of them are known to be thinkers, artists, theologians, journalists and they were ready to make small contributions on request at that time and they do provide some depth and vision to the themes addressed here. Unlike the earlier two volumes where only the Indian Christians were listed, it focuses on the Christians who came to India as missionaries and spent their life with some intellectual pursuit. This select list contains thirty-five thinkers, obviously the choice being arbitrary and not comprehensive due to various factors.
 The criterion for this selection is their contributions that are available in writings, whether it is philosophy, religion, language studies or any aspect of Indian culture. Whatever might have been their motivation they are remembered today by the larger public in India for what they have left behind as Christian legacy. The purpose of this documentation is to make known this heritage to the public with the hope that they are of some inspiration for the younger generation.

Siva the dancing God (in German) is published by Verlag Mueller-Speiser, Anif/Salzburg (2004). It deals with the dance of Siva based on the two texts: One is Kuncita-anghristava by Umapati Sivacarya of Cidambaram and 84 stanzas from Tirumular’s Tirumantiram, where Siva’s dance is described. It is a translation of select verses from these texts with a short reflection of the fact of divine dance.

Abhirami Antati It is a translation of this Tamil text into German. It has 100 stanzas. The book tries to introduce important Sanskrit texts on Goddess worship, in order to highlight the feminine aspect of the divine. This is also published by Verlag Mueller-Speiser, Anif/Salzburg (2004).
